Good to Know When Travelling from Notting Hill
- No Congestion Charge: Notting Hill is outside the central London charging zone (the old western extension was removed in 2011), so nothing is added to your fare.
- Notting Hill Carnival: on the August bank holiday weekend many streets around Ladbroke Grove and Westbourne Grove close. If you're flying then, book early and we'll agree a pickup point outside the closures.
- Portobello Road on Saturdays: the market fills the road and nearby streets, so allow extra time or meet your driver on a quieter side street.
